The Guyanese were initially set a target of 95 and after facing four overs and reaching 9-0, they players had to scurry off the field due to a downpour. After a lengthy rain delay, play resumed with the revised target being 67 off 28 overs. And after some hiccups, the Guyanese eventually crossed the line in fading light off the fourth ball of the 23rd over. Opener Mandy Mangru led the chase with 19, Ashmini Munisar made an unbeaten 11 and Katana Mentore 11. Guyana had earlier put up a solid team bowling performance, led by off-spinner Plaffiana Millington, to dismiss the Jamaicans for 94. The Berbician picked up 3-21 from 10 overs, five of which were maidens, to earn the Player-of-the-Match award.
