Playing at the Port Mourant ground, Demerara first defeated Essequibo by eight wickets, and then whipped home side Berbice by nine wickets. Against Essequibo on Friday, Madramootoo made 52 as Demerara overhauled a target of 127, while she made an unbeaten 19 against Berbice in a modest chase of 59.
