yu keep forgetting one thing AFRO..westindies administrative shambles.

yu seem to be making too much light of dat, when in fact that is the single most desructive fact in westindies cricket since 1995 and the presidency of Pat Rosseau.

Oz retooled is once again powerful in 3 years. Pak in 1 year has outstripped westindian progress, despite the 2 teams being at the same point last westindian summer. westindies had a win and a drawn series at that time.

but 10 months later its night and day bewteen westindies and Pak regardles of that drawn series then.

and dont forget pak has far more serious problems than westindies.

test cricket still cant be played in Pakistan due to acutal physical danger to the whole nation, far less cricket teams on tour.

and then there was the cheating scandal.

westndies has a cheating, corrupt and stinking administration that has spread itself all over westindies cricket, like an impenetrable shroud, that has bligthed westindies prospects for 17 continous years now, with no light in sight.

just as this administrative dark cloud has poisoned all prospects sine 1995, it wille at up this current flowering of westindian talent as well.

that is what it promises with the persistence of sammy as captain for eg., and all mannner of ill-feeling in the regional game at almost all levels

now the nastiness has poisoned guyana totally, down to and through all levels of the game there, especially between the players and admin.

I will bet right now that India will be up and running again in 3 years, while the wicb wastes our current plenttiful talent, and continues the nigh that has descended on westindies cricket with the rise of the blac and brown elites to administrative supremacy in the region

The WICB has done many good things Maps!!..which i've listed on many occasions, to suggest they are hell bent on ruining WI cricket is rather naive, first and formost IT'S THE PLAYERS who represent WI on the pitch, not the board members, the Sammy situation is a black mark on the job they have done thus far, but that's only ONE THING, there's no point in living in the past and talking about "1995"...Hilaire and Hunte wasn't around back then, another thing to note is Hunte and Hilaire will NOT BE AROUND by the time this team has matured, so there's no need to worry about their influence long term,

As for Pakistan, well look at the ages of their players?!! most of them are in their mid 30s!!.. so sooner or later they are bound to run into the same problems that India are facing right now with their old players failing, we on the other hand HAVE THE YOUNGEST TEAM OF ALL THE NATIONS, so the more this team gains experience the better it will get,

I refuse to waste time moaning about the board, my focus remains on the great talent we have coming through which is the best in over 15 years, not even the WICB can stop these yutes from progressing imo, they aren't that stupid!! .
