HOUSTON — A federal jury on Tuesday convicted R. Allen Stanford, a Texas financier, on 13 out of 14 counts of fraud in connection with a worldwide fraud that lasted more than two decades and involved more than $7 billion in investments.

The ruling came after jurors on Monday sent the judge a note, one of several since deliberations began Feb. 29, saying they were unable to reach a unanimous verdict on all 14 counts. The judge ordered them to continue deliberating.

but sandford...like 'madeoff' is scrap meat for baying dogs..sacrifice to save the real criminals at the top...Obama bwoys who he bailed out to the tune of trillions of american people money.

if I had to save any of dem it wud be like sandford, who used his money in nices way..inclduing giving it away to westindian cricketers before the american government took it all away from him

13 X 20 Years = 260 Years imprisonment fuh him? If dats de case, they should allow him to spend 130 years in US prison and 130 years in Antigua's prison!!!
