Majola and other staff members received a collective R4.7 million (US$ 671.428) in bonuses after the hosting of the 2009 IPL and Champions Trophy but those payments were not disclosed to CSA's remunerations committee and were picked up in a subsequent audit report as irregularities.

Very good point, Maps....

Let the ICC rule on the South Africa situation, before the back the corrupt WICB and wave the red flag at Guyana.

Why should the ICC intervene in this. There is a difference between this and the Guyana situation.
Has the SA government intervened and taken over CSA?

Despite the talk by the Government in Guyana I do not believe any members of the GCB will be charged and brought before the courts.

Where is the political interference?

Majola was suspended by the CSA board not the government. His replacement was appointed by the CSA.

An inquiry had been set up by the SA government. There was no suspension of the CSA. IMO setting up an inquiry would not contravene ICC rules.

What you want - paragraph upon paragraph about blac people and white elite!!

its all on the intervention of the minister of sports. it is political intervention.

or do yu see political intervention as only when a corrupt and illegal board is eliminated and a process started to constitute a new one.

wat are yu ..an ICC shill?

It is important to be factual and to see the distinction between the Guyana situation and the SA one.

There was NO SUSPENSION OR TAKE OVER of CSA by the government. The government set up an inquiry and as a result of that inquiry we have the events taking place now.

I never said that I agreed with the ICC re Guyana but the events in Guyana are not the same as those in SA.
