The Georgetown Cricket Umpires and Scorers Association (GCUSA) has teamed up with FL Sport and the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) to host a Level One course for aspiring cricket scorers. The one-day course is slated for March 9, 2025, from 09:30h to 14:00h at a venue to be confirmed. The course is designed for beginners and enthusiasts who want to develop their scoring skills. Participants will learn the fundamentals of cricket scoring, symbols, techniques and best practices from experienced instructors. The course is open to aspiring cricket scorers, cricket enthusiasts, players and coaches. At the completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate to symbolise their newfound knowledge on scoring. Limited spots are available and interested persons are encouraged to register early.
