Cricket Australia Annual General Meeting to stream live

The 2012 Cricket Australia Annual General Meeting will be held in Melbourne tomorrow, Thursday 25 October.

Media are invited to attend as Cricket Australia’s Member Cricket Associations vote on amending its constitution and by-laws and moving progressively to an independent board and a new financial model. If approved, three nominees (Jacquie Hey, David Peever, Kevin Roberts) will be put to members with a two-thirds majority needed to confirm their appointments as CA’s first independent board members.

A media conference will be held after the AGM at 12.45pm.

The Annual General Meeting will also be streamed live on cricket.com.au.

Run Sheet

11am - AGM starts, including:

· Vote on amending the CA constitution

· If approved, vote to elect independent Directors and introduction of Directors

· Chairman, CEO and Finance presentations

· Adoption of Financial Report and Annual Report

12.30pm - AGM ends

12.45pm - Media Conference with CA Chairman Wally Edwards and newly-appointed Directors

Venue

Alto Room, Level 25, Langham Hotel, Southbank, Melbourne

There will be no entry between the AGM starting at 11am and finishing at 12.30pm. Media wishing to attend the AGM should note the doors will close at 11am sharp.



Media wishing to attend for the media conference only can access the room from 12.30pm.
