Ponting to retire after Perth


Ricky Ponting, Australia’s 366th Test player and most successful captain, has announced he will retire from Test cricket at the conclusion of the third Vodafone Test in Perth.

Another grandpa bites di dust!!!.. i only hope Shiv tekking notes and will bow out GRACEFULLY after Pakistan finish wid him next year!!! .

That headline got me curious!! I wondered what honesty Chappell is talking about...Ponting certainly was not very honest when it comes to claiming catches etc!

but Chappell was talking about his honesty to himself in calling it quits!

Ponting averages 57.76 at home and 46.40 away.
