New Zealand 45 bowled out before lunch on day one! VD Philander, the topic of some discussion on here,
VD Philander 6 overs 3 maidens 7 runs 5 wickets @ a strike rate of 1.16

1.6 to Guptill, gone! There's the first one. It's been a lovely start from Philander. Pitches on off stump, shapes away a hint, Guptill plays the original line and gets a thin outside edge 7/1

5.3 to McCullum, cleaned up! But there are a few clouds looming for New Zealand. This was just a good length delivery really, although perhaps it nipped back a touch and McCullum gets an inside edge before the ball crashes into middle stump. 14/2

5.6 to Brownlie, make that 14 for 3! Philander running riot at the moment. Gets a delivery to bounce just outside off stump and Brownlie feels for it with a rather limp shot which results in a gentle edge that loops to Smith at first slip 14/3

7.6 to Williamson, has he got another?! Yes, he has. Number four. The umpire gave him lbw but Williamson opted to review. There was no inside, what about the height? Nothing on Hotspot and it's clipping the top of middle. That's out. 27/4

9.1 to Watling, Oh boy, oh boy! That's unplayable. A peach of a delivery snakes away from Watling who had to play and another edge goes behind the wicket. He couldn't do much about that. Just too good. Mesmeric stuff from Philander 27/5
South Africa in reply 91/1 (19.1 ov) lead by 46 runs with 9 wickets remaining in the 1st innings. Hashim Amla 56 runs not out in this innings scored off 64 balls has hit 8 fours, striking at 87.50, has exceeded his current test average of 51!

As recorded by Cricinfo
Amla out to Franklin. Without being harsh, perhaps one of the more unexpected wickets

25.2 Franklin to Amla, OUT, blimey, he's out. Amla's tactic of walking across his stumps proves his downfall as he misses a full delivery which was homing in on middle stump. In fact, think it struck his back boot

HM Amla lbw b Franklin 66 (110m 74b 9x4 0x6) SR: 89.18
Well played, though I am sure he would be disappointed. And in walks the man, Jacques Kallis, who presents a very strong case for being regarded as the greatest all-rounder that has ever played the game. South Africa 108/2.

Well done, quota picks Philander and Alviro....
8-)
NZ seem to have done what the WICB did not so long ago - alienate their experience batsmen (Taylor and Ryder), but their COTR batsmen are not coming up with the runs.
