Mickey Arthur sacked as Australia's coach

Mickey Arthur has been sacked as Australia's head coach less than three weeks before the start of the Ashes. Cricket Australia is yet to officially announce the decision but the chief executive James Sutherland and general manager of team performance Pat Howard are due to hold a press conference in Bristol on Monday morning (UK time) to confirm the move.

...same source as aboveDarren Lehmann, the successful Queensland coach, is considered a leading contender to replace Arthur at short notice. Lehmann is in England having just finished a tour as mentor of the Australia A outfit and has won rave reviews for the tough and somewhat old-school approach he has taken with Queensland since he was appointed in 2011.

Bally it don't matter what they "change". As long as they can't produce a decent batter to compliment this likes of Clark they will continue to lose. Aurthur lead South Africa to number one before so he's obviously got talent as a coach, but the bottom line remains that if you haven't got good players to work with you're always gonna be walking on a slippery rope.
Some coaches have started poorly and have improved like Gibbo and now Duncan, so maybe in time he could have turned it around but i personally think Australia are heading down a dark road, there's just no talent in the cupboard at all.
