I'm having great difficulty understanding exactly what the latest fuss is about....
Surely, the sensible thing to do is to let the arbitration process to run its course. What's all this rubbish about how 'expensive' it is? It's being held in a Caribbean court, for God's sake, not the Privy Council in London!
The 'expense' of letting the arbitration process run its course would be nothing compared to the expense of losing another series to a major strike....

arbitration would be the logical solution if the two sides can't sort things out with a binding outcome. Maybe WICB see more licks in the horizon

WICB is running the cricket and WIPA only representing the players and reacting to WICB moves..

all this fighting energy should be channeled in implementing grassroot cricket and building proper training facilities in the region..

its not that simple bally. there is the class question woven into dat fabric there tight, tight!
I dont have the time but I wish someone with, and the requisite skill, could examine the question of the relationship of the black elite to the curerent state of westindies cricket.
deh cyan pay special attention to why Clive Lloyd refused to live in the westindies and make full use of his regional prestige to re-energise and devlop westindies cricket?
Lloyds westindian potential offered more to him and to us than anything he has earned at the ICC and living in england so far.
this question here is very important! we need to know if in fact the westindian elites are working to keep the region seperate and weak and divided, and as cricket has been the major point of westindisn unity they are focused on keeping the game down as opposed to raising it up with all the positive feelings of unity, nation and pride that gives to the westindian mass?
if I had a spare 100k usd I would hire some of them scholars who use proper analytical method...marxism...to look at the question and come up with some truth..whatever it turns out to be!
