Opening batsman Adrian Barath is confident that Trinidad and Tobago can complete a hat-trick of West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) Cup titles.
Trinidad and Tobago’s cricketers will commence their preparation today at the National Cricket Centre in Balmain, Couva for the regional 50 overs tournament which is being held in Jamaica next month.
“I think we can accomplish the triple this year because the team will be at full strength” said Barath yesterday. He added, “I think once we play to our full potential it should not be a problem for us. We were knocked out of the Twenty20 tournament by Guyana and you can expect those results in the shortest form of the game. The 50 over format is different because we will have more time and overs to recover if there is a bad session.”
