Greenidge is currently working with national coach Kelvin Williams and other members of the TTCB to implement the infrastructure for the Academy which is expected to be used by the national team and various youth teams.

TTCB president Azim Bassarath revealed that Greenidge is an integral part of the Academy and will be the premier batting coach.

“Gordon Greenidge will be our specialist batting coach and hopefully the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) will employ him here so we can work with him closely. We are looking forward to working with UTT and Greenidge. He is one of the greatest batsmen to have played international cricket and our players can only benefit from working with a top class batsman like him” revealed Bassarath yesterday.
