how come you doh win when you reach 450 in a chase of 458?
I din watch he game but that seems illogical to me. if you reach within 8 runs with 3 wickets in hand you supposed to make those 8 runs and win
I see some where that Smith say it was the right decision not to go after the runs. I thought he was talking about runs. I did not have a clue he was talking about 8 runs until I saw the score card.
allyuh see dat Smith. he is a true arse as I far as I know his career. one time he declared and gave a test match to Oz. as far as I calculated that was a worse decision than the one Sobers made to give england a win at Port of Spain in 1968.
I sad to myself that if Ponting and dem hit about 5 quick 44444s it would reduce the run rate quickly and significantly. well that is exactly what the Oz did and the rest is history.
Smith got away with that silliness completely. the media let him off. if it was a west indian deh would crucify him like they did Sobers. but Smith was worse than Sobers. and now he has done it again apparently.
