William Perkins continued his rich form in the Carib Twenty20 competition yesterday, plundering a savage 34-ball 100 to give W Connection Wanderers an easy 144-run win over Caldrac Sports at Caldrac.
Perkins, who last week thumped 99 off Calcutta Sports Club, hammered 11 sixes and six fours in just under an hour to power Wanderers to a formidable 259 for eight, a feat Caldrac could not match. The T&T opener had help from fellow national player Navin Stewart and Omesh Ramoutar, who struck 48 and 44 respectively. Anthony Ragoo was Caldrac’s best bowler, snaring three wickets for 26 runs in two overs.
