Good interview HERE with our director of cricket!!..had another brief conversation with him the other day!!..guy is working hard and the big meeting next month should bring more clarity to the situation...first step is extending the first class season while poor club cricket structures in the Leewards, Winwards and Jamaica is also being looked at very closely.

More talk....
I'm waiting for action. We still have a shortened domestic FC fixture list, we still have players who are amateurs while they play in dung heap...clearly, 2014 is a write-off. When I see a double-round-robin season in 2015, and when I see this much-touted professional domestic cricketer system actually implemented, then I will take notice.

Nuff talk, but not a single word on transparency and accountability.

wukless guyana selectors mess dem around
some selectors are stupid just like Jams
one skunt is holding us back and that's the captain and the selectors who keep picking him
.stupid fecking selectors should have picked Fudadin instead!!..but they are so bone idle it's ridiculous
THE SELECTORS= A bunch of idiots who aren't capable of thinking outside the box and have helped to create this whole xxxxx fiasco .....their lack of courage ......how else does a selection panel keep picking him and even goes out of their way to unbalance the side just so he can play? l: the sorry part is they haven't even had to worry about the consequences!!..because the stupid board has allowed them to sit comfortably in their positions for longer than any selection panel we've had in recent years.
right now the selectors are looking extremely STUPID
the selectors and coach are so damn stupid and conservative that they keep going back to the likes of xxxx.
the upside of a defeat in this game is it will expose how dumb the coach and selectors have been
it was stupid of Gibson and the selectors to omit xxxxxxx
The selectors really are a bunch of idiots!
now the selectors look fecking stupid
those stupid Jamaican selectors
the stupid jam selectors strike again
the foolish Leewards selectors refuse to pick him
those stupid fecking selectors
how many gems have been held back by foolish selectors?
So much stupidity from one poster, at least now it's clear exactly which problems Pybus should be addressing. I have to wonder though, who, in their right mind, would continue to employ so many stupid people, unless they like it so - surely not the WICB boardthe idiot Bim selectors keep ignoring him

Richard Pybus Director of cricket
“He has extensive knowledge in designing and managing successful cricket development systems both at the grassroots and elite levels and we look forward to him building on the work we have already done in putting the various critical foundational elements in place,” He added.
I think it's reasonably safe to assume Gibson and his three scouts come under the description, foundational elements, while the Director of Cricket title includes the as stated, management of the west Indies senior team structure.
“I look forward to Richard joining us ...so as to ensure that all the necessary structures are in place to allow West Indian cricketers to develop and flourish regionally and internationally,” Muirhead said. The Board received a presentation from newly appointed Director of Cricket Mr. Richard Pybus. Mr. Pybus’ presentation concentrated on the historical context of West Indies player production and where the system currently is.
He will be implementing a system review from feeder systems at grassroots level all the way through First Class cricket to the international side. It will include an overall plan for development and school’s cricket through to the West Indies senior team.

this whole conversation is a repeat...from the days of Bennett King. King was supposed to do all this. he did not which is one reason why I called him skunt Sking. and Sking cost a million per.
another reason is that he was incompetent and in no way worth a dollar far less a million. where is Bennett Sking now? is he even alive so completely he has disappeared from crickek considerations since he left west indies employ
now we have another skunt conjurers trick in A pie bus..where the conjurer focuses people on his right hand so deh cant see what he is doing with his left. that's the wicb. we are being dazzled with white skin once more while the nig nog flim flam artists struggle off with the pots of gold at Factory Road.
the big mout' Tom at the centre of things refuses to understand life and society. there is a class in charge of society and they make a living in the way society is run. whatever happens is a result of the way they express their class interest...period. that will not change unless there is social reform bringing another class into the social power.
that's it. basic, fundamental..the way things go. nothing happens by guess. if the survival of those in charge depended on west indian cricket success on the field of play then we would have had a lot more of that. that is absolutely logical. the position and well being of the class in charge does not depend on west indian success on the field of play so they do not care.
if cricket was the criteria was the case they would have been long fired and other more competent people put in charge to produce greater success.
so once the class in charge remains in place..first in the west indies as a whole, then in their subsidiary branches in regional institutions like CARICOM, the wicb etc...then there will be change at all.
MO MATTER WHO THEY BRING IN FROM OUTSIDE IT WILL STAY THE SAME. THEY DO NOT BRING IN FORRINERS TO MAKE THINGS BETTER BUT TO DAZZLE THE NATIVES WHO MAY BE RESTIVE. WE CANNOT EXPECT THEM TO CHANGE THE WAY THEY MAKE THEIR LIVING AND KEEP THEIR CLASS SOCIALLY DOMINANT IN THE REGION. THAT IS ILLOGICAL.
so pie bus will make no positive difference at all from the interest of the majority of west indians who want to see a winning side. he is not in the west indies for that reason. it as the same story with Sking, Dyson etc. now 10 years up the road we are back to the same thing...as if the previous generation has passed and the new must now be fooled, like their predecessors were.
I cant be bothered. this nonsense has been going on all the time. it never stops, cant stop. but there is always a new supply of fools to be taken to the cleaners
