Gwaan ...mek them answer..The T&T Cricket Board (TTCB) is currently awaiting a response from the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) concerning the removal of Denesh Ramdin from the retainer list and the non-selection of Lendl Simmons. Last week Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs, Anil Roberts, wrote the TTCB asking for answers from the WICB, concerning the removal of Ramdin and the non selection of Simmons.
President of the TTCB, Azim Bassarath said yesterday he wrote president of the WICB, Dr Julien Hunte on the matter and is awaiting a response.
He added: “The TTCB have been bombarded with calls concerning the exclusion of Ramdin and also the none selection of Simmons. “The Simmons issue has really gotten fans upset and they want an explanation. “The WICB had told the player that he has a disciplinary matter to deal with yet the player has not been told where he went wrong and when. This is very unfair to him and issues like this can severely affect a player’s career. “The board continues to snub him for the senior team and even for developmental tours with the ‘A’ team and what we want to know is that whether or not they are done with him? We need answers and we are seeking them.”
Roberts awaits explanation from WICB

anthow this is a silly matter for roberts to get involved in as a minister of government.
the wicb have the right to select as it sees fit. selection is a matter of opinion based on ability, performance and usefulness as a team member etc. if for whatever reason the wicb sees the need to dfrop who they have its not the right businesss of a governmentr minister to intervene.
that is the province of the fan and related groups, the relevant cricket bodies etc...noty any government
