------------MOST UNBEATEN TEST HUNDREDS: World Record: Shiv holds the world record for most unbeaten test hundreds. 18 of Shiv’s 30 test hundreds to date have been unbeaten. Tendulkar had 16 unbeaten test hundreds; Kallis and SWaugh each scored 15.
----------MOST CONSECUTIVE FIFTIES: World record. Shiv shares the world record with Everton Weekes , Andy Flowers and Kumar Sangakkara for most consecutive test fifties–7. His scores were 69, 74, 50, 116*, 136*, 70, 104.
----------------2 UNBEATEN FIFTIES IN A MATCH: Word record. Shiv is the only batsman in test history to accomplish this feat 4 times–128* and 97* vs England; 65* and 70* vs South Africa; 107* and 77* vs Australia; 84* and 101* vs Bangladesh
----------HIGHEST AVERAGE AT #6: World record: Shiv has the highest batting average at the #6 batting position in test cricket–--minimum qualification 10 innings---he averages 64.82 in 49 innings at #6. Imran Khan averaged 61.86 at #6; Sobers averaged 53.34 in 57 innings at #6.
-------HIGHEST AVERAGE in Innings with 100s: For batsmen with more than 20 test centuries, Chanderpaul averaged 319.83 in scoring his 30 hundreds; Bradman averaged 234.47 in scoring his 29 hundreds; Tendulkar averaged 212.42 in his 51 hundreds; Lara averaged 184.03 in his 34 hundreds

------------------------ICC 900+ RATINGS: Shiv is a member of the ICC 900+ Ratings club—as of Sept 2014 only 28 batsmen in history have entered the ICC 900+ ratings club.

DISMISSAL BY STUMPING: Shiv Chanderpaul holds the world record for most tests played by a batsman before being stumped. Shiv played in 155 tests without being stumped. Then in his 156th test he was stumped for the first time against New Zealand off the bowling of Craig. Mahela Jayawardene played in 149 tests without being stumped. He is now retired.
