The ONY thing West Indians ever won regarding test cricket in Sri Lanka is the Toss, player of the match and series (Lara). What about the collective team performance? Hell, see below and look at the margin of defeat.

As long as the WICB is in the governance of Cricket in the Region , Cricket in the Region is going to be in an endless Roundabout , with losses piling up perpetually . However this situation can be changed , but the question is DOES THE WICB WANT TO CHANGE THIS SITUATION ????? .

AS I HAVE STATED BEFORE STANFORD SHOWED THE WICB AND THE CRICKET WORLD , THAT IF OUR

PLAYERS ARE PROPERLY PREPARED THEY WILL & CAN PERFORM VERY WELL. BY NOW IT SHOULD BE

OBVIOUS TO ALL , THAT TO MAKE OUR PLAYERS REALLY COMPETITIVE MONEY HAS TO BE SPENT . THERE

AINT NO SHORTCUTS IN THIS .

For those still in the dark , THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT THAT STANFORD'S 6 WEEKS CAMP WAS A

GREAT CONTRIBUTING FACTOR TOWARDS THE VICTORIES OF STANFORD'S TEAM IN THE NOW FAMOUS

TWENTY MILLION DOLLARS , TWENTY /20 MATCH SERIES .

I am not advocating 6 weeks Camps from the WICB . But having 1 or 2 week Camps for our Part Time Players , who play the least Cricket compared to Players in Teams ranked above our Team . This is compounded by the fact that the current ICC Format is much more detrimental to our players , because they are Part time Players than Players on other Teams who play County ; State ; Pro & Semi Pro Cricket .

While in the Region there is not a Regional Pro or Semi Pro League , and the current Standard of Cricket in the Region , is very much below that of other Teams ranked above our Team . Folks this aint Rocket Science
it is elementary commonsense . Unfortunately the Emperors in the WICB are totally devoid of any commonsense .

They are also ably supported in their stupidity , by those who claim to be Journalists , but know absolutely nothing about the role of Journalists . Then there is Caricom , packed with a Bunch of Wimps , who seem to
be afraid of the WICB . In essence , THE TAIL IS WAGGING THE DOG .

Point, ...T20 is different from Test. WI never won a test match in Sri Lanka and it doesn't 't look like will happen anytime soon. Practicing for these types of game will only take you so far. The players need to work on their game and if they don't get all the opportunities they will continue to struggle.

WICB should try to get some of these contracted players exposure to county cricket when they are not playing.
