I am not sure about you folks, but I have a feeling that Ramnaresh Sarwan is prepared to take his cricket to a higher plane.

To date Ramnaresh Sarwan has played in 83 tests. He has scored 5759 runs at an average of 41.73 with 15 hundreds and 31 fifties.

QUESTION:

What will Sarwan stats look like in his next 25 tests ?

Here are some projections:

SARWAN'S NEXT 25 TESTS:
Tests: 25

Innings: 42

Not outs: 2

Runs: 2150

Average: 53.75

100s: 7

50s: 10
So over his next 25 tests Sarwan will score 2150 runs at an average of 53.75 with 7 hundreds and 10 fifties.

WHAT WILL SARWAN'S OVERALL TESTS STATS LOOK LIKE AFTER HIS NEXT 25 TESTS ?

Here we go:
Tests: 108

Innings: 188

Not outs: 10

Runs: 7909

Average: 44.43

100s: 22

50s: 41

OBSERVATION:

After 108 tests Sarwan will score 7909 runs at an average of 44.43 with 22 hundreds and 41 fifties.

Not bad! Not bad at all.

QUESTION:

Anything interesting about that 44.43 test average Sarwan will have after his 108th test ? Do you folks recall any other batsman with a 44.43 test average ?

Panditji

Sarwan needs to keep on batting for long periods without taking too much risk... He needs to take a page out of Shiv's book.. Time to get more not outs, score big tons and prove his worth as a top batsman.

lankans will always play well in lanka. but remember lowly mediocre west indies defeated them in trinidad in the last series.

and sars scored a hundred in that test.
