none of the above...but following lloyd I say the best youngster who is assured of a place on ability....who can grow with the new emerging team.
that of course would be lil Barath!

I was also inclined to say none of the above, but ended up settling for Sarwan....
I'm just sure it can't be Gayle or Bravo.
Maybe the best thing to do is to pick the XI to play the first Test, and choose the captain from among them.

Well I find the votes (small sample) thus far interesting.... Sarwan is leading in the votes, yet WICB is not committed to him but they want commitment.

like tossing a coin eh!
Sarwan qualifies on a hard reasoning of the situation. but sarwan slacked away so ridiculously its hard to consider him for the leadership.
a man is supposed to tuff it out in his hard times, his disgust with the situation ect.
no matter what he shoud never let his own self down by not scoring, giving soft outs, doh care damm...just plain lacakadaisical, not keeping fit..just becuase he in disagreement with the wicb, how previous decisions went against him etc.
dat was jess hurting himself dat was.... and sarwan shud never have allowed himself to fall like that. that is why I now find it real hard to consider him for the leadership.
no more of the old fellas..no ganga, no gayle, no sarwan, no shiv, no devon...none of them.
take the plunge with Barath or even sammy. I would prefer either of those 2 than any of the rest

how about Nash??
he is a stable force in the test team! Who else besides Shiv (given the contract issues) can say that?
