Should The WICB Beg Chanderpaul To Lead WI ?

If the board of directors of the WICB choose to drop Gayle as their captain should they go on their knees and plead with 36 year old Shiv Chanderpaul to lead the WI team to Sri Lanka ?
We all know that Shiv resigned the captaincy back in 2006 because he wanted to focus more on his batting. And focus on his batting he did.
In the 32 tests Chanderpaul has played in since he resigned the captaincy he has scored 2739 runs at an average of 63.69 with 8 hundreds and 19 fifties.
QUESTION:
If the WICB were to ask Shiv a favor---plead with him to lead the team to Sri Lanka---should he accept ?
PANDITJI SAYS NO WAY JOSE!
Shiv needs to spend the rest of his career focusing like a laser on raising his test average above 50----he is currently at 49.28 and he has a good shot at topping 50.
Let the WICB keep their captaincy. The ideal person to take over from Gayle is Ramnaresh Sarwan, but the WICB doesn't want Sarwan as their captain.
Hope Shiv is not foolish to accept the captaincy if the WICB begs him to lead the team to Sri Lanka.

panditji: shiv look strong as a horse in dat photo. the man look like he can play another 10 years.
i see you quoted shiv stats in the 32 tests since he left the captaincy. the man put up some great numbers.
panditji could you do a projection of shiv's stats over the next 4 years in tests ? thanks.
re: shiv captaining the west indies again
i have to agree wid you. shiv should focus 100% on his batting. he should not allow himself to be used by the wicb.
i also agree wid you that sars should be the next captain. but most likely st lucian hunte will want st lucian sammy to lead the west indies.

Pandit Ji, those are very impressive numbers... Shiv has to focus on what he knows best...bat, bat and bat
Shiv is on a mission to get his 50+ average and he shouldn't lose focus on that goal.
I'll be happy if Shiv could put these numbers up again in another 32 matches.
WICB can give the captaincy to whomever they see fit.

Shiv was Guyana's Captain before sarwan, he was forced out, Just want to let all know that shiv was a captain ( and a successful one) before he was named WI captain.
Shiv was never a bad captain while reigning as WI cappo. Courtney Browne ( Lara bestman at his wedding) dropped Kallis off Shiv's bowling ( they said that Shiv grandma could have taken that catch), Browne did it again, this time Inzaman was on 0, went on to score 100 plus--when they went to New Zealand Shiv was taken out without touching the ball and lastly he scored 203 not out and became the 2nd captain to do so in debut after Dowling of New Zealand.
