How do Indian hero VVS Laxman and West Indies hero Shiv Chanderpaul compare statistically ? Let's have a look:

OBSERVATION:
For most of Laxman's career he has been overshadowed by the great Tendulkar and for most of Chanderpaul's career he was overshadowed by the great Lara.
Both Laxman and Chanderpaul are very good batsmen. It would be wonderful if they could both raise their test averages above 50. Laxman currently averages 47.40 after 114 tests; Chanderpaul averages 49.28 after 126 tests.
I would like to see both Laxman and Chanderpaul end their test careers averaging 50+
