Christine Amertil of Bahamas cruises to victory in 52.10 in the first heat of the women's 400....

Botswana's Montsho was a comfortable winner of the second heat, but Pompey of Guyana also looked untroubled in second.

Jamaica's Davita Prendagast scrapes thru in fourth. Master Blaster Viv Richards is in the stands watching this....

Another Nigerian, Abugan, easily won the third heat in 52.42, with Grenada's Trish Bartholomew third and jamaica's Dominique Blake fourth.

Conrad Williams of England wins the first heat of the 400 in 45.78, with Bahamaian Michael Mathieu coming in second....

Another Bahamaian, Ramon Miller, comfortably won the second heat in 46.12. And a third, Anretti Bain, wins the third in 46.20.

Oral Thompson wins the fourth heat in 46.60, with Trinidad's Gordon struggling to come in third. A good run by Dominica's Erison Hurtault to win the final heat in 46.50.

Botswana's Montsho convincingly won her semi in 50.81, with Alian Pompey of Guyana (51.70) finishing second, while Prendagast of Jamaica and Bartholomew of Grenada failed to advance....

Christine Amertil of the Bahamas looked comfortable in winning the second semi in 51.95.

Jamaica's Lansford Spence ran a PB to take silver in the final of the men's 200....

Can Cydonnie Mothersill of the Caymans go one better today and win the women's equivalent?

Cydonie Mothersill of the Caymans won the women's 200 in a time of 22.89....
