I have a strong feeling that WICB is hinting at it and it's a done deal...even-though Hilaire seh they didn't discuss the captaincy yet

skunt hunte is pres and hilaire is from up there too. what else to expect but a sammy captaincy. it
sammy as cappo would be the most natural development given the circumstances. I dont know if it would be the best choice but it would be logical

are yu serious? why would they not pik their bwoy! given the circumstances sammy is the man. just as if the powers were Guyanese or Trini.
the cappo usually reflects whichever section of the rergion has wicb power

what are you talking about. is how the situation come up yu know. if there is no alternative to a particular player as captain he is cappo no matter whhere he is from or who is leading he wicb.
but if the circumstances are like these currently here then Sammy is the man...period! due to hilaire and hunte

I like Lloyds idea....pick a young cappo and let him grow with the team.
if we starting over again, which means an end for gayle, sarwan, taylor, edwards etc...and only sknash and shive of the old guard would remain...prolly big Bravo too, and in time Ramdin again....LLoyds idea is an excellent one.
we have to pick the young player with the best ability and certainty to make the side on class and make him cappo.
that player is Barath!
you make Barath captain and you establish a braintrust/psychological support team off the field, that would work with him on the field as he is prepared by their guidance and grows to assume more and more of the decison-making on his own.
such a braintrust could be composed of Lloyd himself, the coach, a real westindian psychologist who can think westindian, and one or two more more real cricket strategists we can hire in the region, of top quality, who can contribute to the proper development of such a project.
this would not be special treatment just for Barath because westindian cricket must go this way anyway. we must develop our game fully and these directions..inputs.. are contributory flows that would help immeasurably applied to cricket and all areas of life in whcih we find such applications productive.
it would be an effort we would all learn from in a big way.
Barath for captain..not sknash! there is no such 'developmental' possibility with sknash. send his rass home...now !as we re-start one more time!

I am in agreement with the thinking but based on the make up of the team Sars is your man. Make Barath the VC for a year or two and then take it from there.
But I think the Lucians have other ideas..
