Didn't one poster famously advise us about a couple of years back to "stick a fork in Tendy" cause he done?
The Little Champion in dem pweffen.
I personally loved watching both him and BCL. They were two batsmen streets ahead of their contemporaries ie. the Pontings, Dravids, Kallis etc. and I feel privileged to have seen them both bat. End of Story.

HAHAHAHA!!! That's the one Bally!!
I actually like Jamgirl. Notwithstanding her anti-Shiv and anti-Sachin animus I think she's a very intelligent poster who keeps all those wutliss WIPAists honest pon CC.com.

Jamgirl is a diehard Lara fan so she specially had a fork for Sachin. So caught up with Lara, she didn't see that Lara was doing well by himself Funny thing Lara and Sachin seems to have a good relationship.

Yeah, that's what I like about her too - tell it like it is but still civil and intelligent discourse.
But why can't people just enjoy the fact that our generation got to see these two geniuses in action? It boggles my mind that people are still caught up in the Lara v. Tendy stupidness.
As a West Indian I enjoyed watching Lara more than any other batsman, but as a cricket lover I enjoy and love watching Sachin and will do so till he calls it a day.

spot on! I don't get into that Lara v Tendy thing either... it doesn't get anywhere but worked up the posters and creates animosity... They are great players and if you are a real cricket fan then you will appreciate both of them.
A few years ago I went to England for work and I sneaked into a game over the weekend. England was playing SA in an ODI at the Oval. A few Saffies sitting behind asked who I'm supporting.. I told em all I want to see some good live cricket since I don't care for either of the teams.
