I wanted to use an example out of 1984 to highlight a point here..that it may be the mentality itself not what the man says or siad.. that they want to get rid of.BallOil wrote:Mapou.. it the man is a thinker, creative, independendt-minded, nationalistic, doing it right and even by the book etc..that is no good. he is a bad example from the point of view of the status quo.
the 'good' example is the fool, the docile idiot who can be counted on never to challenge the stutus quo.
the intelligent person even if he is by the bok currently can think and can come to see reality and turn against the stasu quo once that intelligence reads his interest not to be met by the state of things...that the state of things is actually dangerous to the health of the whole specise and must be revolutionised.
so from the start, no matter the current ideological postion of world-view of an independent-minded and intelligent person they dont want him/her around at all.
if you smart you must know that the game is to sell yuh soul to and play for the status quo. if you smart its either you place your talents at the disposal of the status quo to be used as they see fit ...or piss off! find your own way! and dont grow too dangerous or we will knock you off!

That Joshua/Gautam is a frikken pest. The WICB gave him a lot of rope on their fb page. He saw this as some sort of weakness and continued his negative, mean-spirited, and often time childish posts on their page. His pro-WIPA agenda was also clear for all to see.
I say good facken riddance to this pest.
He can go berate WIPA pon their fb page now.

I have to give Joshua credit for taking it to the WICB. I have seen plenty whiners but they hide behind anonymous handles. We need more people like Josh...
If WICB want to open dialogues (social media) with fans they have to tolerate them. Now they lost a active fan ...and the team is not winning over the fans either

Not true man. Gautam went over the line of acceptable behiavour. You don't go into a friend's house and piss all over the carpet. They tolerated a lot from this pest to the chagrin of many other fans who also thought his behaviour was unacceptable.BallOil wrote:I have to give Joshua credit for taking it to the WICB. He could have made his points without insulting, berating, and behaving in a condesending and arrogant manner. They certainly gave him a lot of rope but he obviously saw this as weakness from the WICB.
As far as I'm concerned they were entirely within their rights to "unfriend" him from the FB page. Now real fans can enjoy that page and participate in proper and civil discussions.
